Purchased a 2000 Century 6 months ago w/40,000 miles. Now notice that when the transmission gets hot, I hear a whining sound and the car shifts hard (literally jerks the car). Fluid looks good (in the hash marks) and is not leaking anywhere (crawled under and looked), no seepage, no wet spots. Love the car and want to get this fixed before it becomes a major problem. Any ideas? I live in SW PA (Somerset/Johnstown) and am not sure who to trust to look at it...
