we just bought a great ridding buick century.but i noticed the mirror switch dosent work very well .the switch for eithr mirror works,but when usuing the 4 way to adjust it only works once in a while,any ideas were to start,or how hard and what cost to replace that sitch if needed,jim

It isn't hard to replace the switch if that is what it needs? Does it do the same thing for both mirrors? If it does then the 4 way directional switch is probably bad. Just put a flat blade screw driver under the bezel that holds all the window switches and mirror switch and pry up on it. Pry up on the front edge of it not the rear. Once the front pop up then you can pull it the rest of the way out. I think from there you can see how to remove the mirror switch. I don't know how much it would cost for the part maybe $30.
