Got this 95 pa that I love but I'm considering getting rid of cause it has a pretty bad shake at 75-80+mph on the x-way. I've replaced both front tie rod ends and ball joints, had a good alignment done and had 3 different sets of balanced tires on this thing in an attemptto get it to drive right.

I'm not too sure on where to go from here what should I check out next? the vibration is rough shakes the dash pretty hard at 75 but drives beautifully 30-70mph. I don't want to get rid of it but this is driving me nuts!

thanks

jerry

I assume you (or your mechanics) have checked the CV joints, right?

u changed the tires, what about the rims, one bent rim would do that as well

I have the same problem with my 92 P.A.. My mechanic replaced the axle shocks to no avail. then I took the car to a transmission mechanic. He mentioned that the problem was a worn out bearing/seal in the tranny????

Does anyone have any other suggestions on the shaking of the p.avenue other than transmission mechanic suggesting the axle connection at the tranny be inspected for some kind of a worn out bearing or seal??? I have never heard of this, have you? please help.

mine shakes on the freeway only at about 55-70 mph.
