Hello,
It was suggesteed I introduce myself. I'm CJ. Originally from the Chicago suburbs, spent 8 years in Phoenix, now I reside in Pleasant View, UT. I bought my 25th Ann. Regal new in 98. I owneda 78 Regal in High School. Loved it to death, if you catch my drift.
The 98 has a little over 54k miles on it, now. It's my daily driver and I've yet to have to fix/replace anything on it except window regulators and wear items. The power steering ran low, somehow, and got air in the system, but I refilled it and it's been fine ever since. Weird.
More than one "ricer" has watched my tail-lights leaving them behind - and it's not even SC'd - bone stock. I love stretching her legs out every so often. She spins the tires SO easily, it almost scares me.
As things begin to wear out, I'll be upgrading to more "performance-based" aftermarket items to optimize the handling. I'm considering a turbo modification / kit I found, but my funds aren't there - if they ever will be. I'll be adding front and rear tower supports and rear link upgrades, soon. I hope to upgrade the brakes to larger diameter and bump up the sway bars, too. I'm considering Koni adjustable struts, but I'm not too keen on a 1.25" drop spring, like most Grand Prix guys. I want my Regal to appear stock, except upon very close inspection.
It's all about the right mix of comfort and performeance, right? ;)
Well, enough about me. "nice to meet you all".
