My wife and i are thinking of purchasing a new vehicle . suv type . went looking yesterday and found the rendezvous. is this a good vehicle . she drives a about 100 miles a day to work and back , is this car up to the thousands of miles we will be putting on it? i know it comes with 100,000 mile warranty on the 07s , we will have that used in 3 years. pros and cons welcomed, any real world mpg also welcomed

can only speak for the 04 -- done 30k miles in 8 months - gas mileage is around 22mpg, oil changes are pretty frequent (for mineral), but seems to do the job well.

be aware that many rndvz stories are around about how crappy the quality of the engines are after 50k (so it seems). not sure if this has been addressed in 07 models
