Supercharge?

Hello I am a new buick owner just bought a 1993 regal gs with 140k Miles on it, it has been well taken care of and I am very Interested in supercharging it however I dont know what engine is in it yet as it went straight to the paint shop as soon as I bought it. were these cars supercharged? I would like to supercharge this car if possible SAFELY! as in the right way, no blown engines, transmissions, or mechanical corners cut.

The supercharged Regal came out with the 3800 series II engine in 1997.

The easiest and safest way to do it is put a for sale sign in the window and buy a supercharged Regal.

On any engine it's more than just unbolting your intake and bolting in a superchargers intake and supercharger. There is the drive, the intake, all the different sensors and all the wiring to operate an engine that has both vacuum and boost, the SC computer, bigger fuel injectors, maybe a bigger fuel pump.

The kit can be found here: http://shop.zzperformance.com/3800-s...sion-kits.aspx

Search around some and see if you can find someones build thread who has done it before you think about it too much.

I have a turbo Volvo and a supercharged Thunderbird so I know what I'm talking about. The SuperCoupe uses the same Eaton M90 blower the GMs do.
