feltes94 Feb 8, 2012 01:06 PM

i belive i got 6000 or the 5000 what ever the white ones were with the littleest blue it changed from site to site so its one of those ill post with picturs and stuff when i get them and how do i put a relay in so my dims stay on when brights on cuz they have that 2 sec delay befor they warm up enough anybody got any ideas how fix that problem?

2k2cse Feb 8, 2012 03:42 PM

Good choice on the color, sounds like 6000k to me. As for the 4-hi mod, this is the write up I used: http://www.w-body.com/showthread.php...ght-mod./page2

You might have to pick up a relay harness, or disable your automatic lights. When I installed my HIDs, my drivers side light would flicker and cut out when starting the car due to the fluctuating voltage to the ballast upon startup.

Cranking the car cuts the headlights off (via BCM) in the event you are jumping the car. I usualy have parking brake on before starting the car so no headlights or center park lights come on. To cut auto 2K2se, you have to do the resistor mod you did right?

2k2cse Feb 8, 2012 07:58 PM

Yeah, a 4.7K ohm resistor across the green and yellow/black stripe wires going into the BCM.

$50 kit? pics? My 4K Katz were $100 hand carried through customs from Japan. Wish I kept that car and set. I have a lexus take off kit for the Subaru but when the engine went I didn't feel a need to install them right away.
