Hi,

91 Regal GS. I have taken out the center console for cleaning and to reattach the fabric to the sides of it. The only thing I cannot figure out is how to get the blasted gear selector off to take the position display out. You know the thingy that showes you if your in park, reverse, or drive and will not slide over the **** because it has a hole only big enough for the shaft it is attached to.

-Is there a pin to pull to remove the ****?
-Does the **** thread off?
-Is there a pin somewhere on the shaft to remove it and slide the position display off that way?
