Airbag light code b1001 - help

I changed the driver seat on my 99 LS Regal and know I have a SES light on the left side and the airbag light(code b1001). I put the original seat back but still have the lights. The air bag light will not clear - it comes right back on. The ses light will not clear because it shows no codes present. Thanks, Ed
