This is my first post on this site so allow me to introduce myself a little bit. I drive a 99 buick regal ls with 120k miles and am currently having an issue with a violent vibration/shake. At over 55mph when i apply the brakes i get a violent shake and this has been occuring for about a week and a half, i had to keep riding it until i could get time off work to get it in the shop to have it looked at. The mechanic told me thatI need a new wheel bearing and tie rod end I am pretty curious as to how hard of repair this is to do my self? Under 55 mph i get a small pulsing vibration but believe that to be from a little bit of warping in my rotors. Any help would be of great appreciation.

It is not an ezy job to do the bearing. The tie rod end is very ezy with the proper tools.
