Hello. A brake question on a 2001 regal. After replacing the rear brake
pads, they seem to be hanging up or sticking. when the car is on jacks
i thought the rear wheels should spin freely. the front ones do. the
rear ones do not, it feels as if somehow the caliper hasnt released
fully. any thoughts are appreciated. thank you

That's nothing to worry about brutedawg, since the pads you are using are for many other cars as well as yours, they might be a little tight at first, they may be a bit tight at first anyways cause the factory accepts anything within a few thoushanths of an inch.

The rubbing will stop with regular driving, it shouldn't take long for your disks to wear them down. till then you've just got dynamite breaks.

Like if you let a car sit to long the pads will rust (yes only a few thou) and that's enuff to stop the wheels from spinning freely with no rub.

So yeah, it's prefectly normal. Hope that helps
