There I was, getting off the Jersey Turnpike to 295 to skip a few tolls, cheap bugger that I am. Power window down, interior lights on to read the ticket of course, see how much I owed, radio on some station playing low. Suddenly...blink...all interior lights go out, radio goes off, window won't go up. I crank that little lights knob to the right and the lights don't come on like they should, but an indicator on the dash says "door/trunk". All other systems are go, but I have to drive my dang car from Trenton to Baltimore with the window down, not to mention park in Baltimore with the window down. And let me tell ya, you've never had an 18 wheeler thunder past you doing 90 on the jersey turnpike until you've done it with the window down. Anyone know what happened? edit: 126000 miles Cheers, AK Edited by: BuleJay10k |
did u chech any fuses. the instrument lights are only fused. the power windows have a relay as well as a fuse.

It was a fuse, all three were hidden under the "Interior Lighting" fuse. Next question, squeaky brakes. They're 2 weeks old, didn't squeak at first, but then they started. And they don't squeak all the time either, just sometimes at very low speeds and sometimes when braking hard at very high speeds.

when u say the brakes are 2 weeks old, do u means u changed the pads 2 weeks ago, or did u replace the rotors as well?
did u use the caliper lube? did u use shimmed pads? did u clean ur guide pins? did u use brak-clean when u were done? |
