I know this is going to sound very petty but I have a black 1995 Regal GS that I bought new in the fall of 95 and drive daily. It's got 160K original miles and is about 99% stock. I love this car and have only one problem with it. I've gone through about 4 power antenna's and have always had it fixed at the dealer. However, the last time the antenna went on me I decided to go to a local car stereo shop and get an aftermarket one. The bozo who installed it threw away my original spacer bolt and replaced is with a huge ugly octogon shaped chrome piece of junk. This has bugged me for over a year now (not to mention that the after market antenna only lasted 3 months and the spacer bolt is rusty). Anyways, I bought a new antenna at the dealer, but they don't carry the original spacer bolt that came with my car. Mine was black and chrome with notches in it. The dealer only has smooth, round chrome ones. Can anyone out there help me to find my original power antenna spacer bolt? I've searched the web and nobody carries them. I'd like to install my new antenna, but not until I can find my original spacer bolt.
