The oi pressure sending unit could be in one of three places.
First could be in the area of the oil filter/pump, or on the side of the block in the oil galley or maybe on top of the engine in the valley under the intake.
Could I ask why you are looking for it?

Sure.....my oil guage is bouncing around from 0 to 80 psi and my pressure light comes on when it drops to zero....but my oil level is fine....so that's got to be the sending unit, right?

Thanks for the info....I could not find it anywhere around the filter. I will look around the engine on top.

I had a similar problem in my 2000 Ranger. But in that truck, the gauge was controlled by a sensor that didn't actually read the pressure..it was basically an on/off switch. The sensor failed one day, and my gauge kept flickering from 0 to middle to max. I'm not sure if your gauge actually measures the pressure, or if its similar to the problem i had. You should check over any wiring in the area for bad grounds or loose connections.
