I just Picked up a 2004 Rainier CXL RWD 4.2L V6. I love my Buick. I believe that it is the best of the GMT360 Line. If anyone is thinking about buying an SUV I really recomend this one. I have a 3800lb boat and I pulled it with my Buick last weekend and it pulled it like a charm. The autoleveling rear airbag system worked wonderfully and raised the trailer about 2 inches. The locking rear diff worked wonderfully. This is an awsome truck!

 

I myself just purchased a 2004 Rainier CXL Plus 4.2L V6 AWD. I haven't tried towing anything yet, but I don't think I could ever buy anything again without Leather/Heated/Memory Seats.

The Salesman at GM failed to mention a bunch of features that the vehicle had, that we found after taking the car home and weren't aware of:
- Auto leveling rear Air Bags
- Memory Seats also control mirrors, radio, and pedals.

I am quite happy with the Rainier, too bad they cancelled the line. The Enclave looks pretty nice though.

 

I have a 2004 Buick Rainier CXL, 6 cyl. w/35,000 miles... It has always studdered slightly when I accelerate from a dead stop. The service department changes the code in the computer, but it does not work. Anybody know if this is a problem in Buicks/GMs? Is it bad injectors or timing?

 

When you say always , does that mean from the time you first drove it or did it develop after a number of miles driven? What kind of maintenance has been done to it so far?
