My neverending project. "Special Ed"
#44
I got a couple small things done lately. I finally done the 3400 TB swap and a SRI. It sounds very nice for a little v6. It feels like I have a little more throttle response, especially at highway speeds now.
I'm also either getting some projector fog lights and 3000k HIDs, or doing a projector headlight retrofit. I'm leaning towards the retrofit seems I apparently have a leaky seal on my drivers' headlight. It's been full of condensation since friday.
Do you have anything going on with your car?

Found a computer tray not sure how I want to make or buy the CAI. As for headlights the drivers one is leaking bad. I got 2 more from junked cars but ... driver side(looks like a pattern) has a wiring issue so I might end up gutting it and use the lense on the one on the car now. The 2 white lights that come on when you turn don't work on my car with the headlights, I am missing the pin for those on my harness. Horn is next I have to find a low caddilac note to complete it.

Are you doing a 4 note horn in your car? I was looking for one to put in mine. The two Caddys at the JY here don't have a useable horn. They're both very rusted and falling apart. I took the horn out of an Allure (LaCrosse), an old Ford, a FIAMM Freeway blaster, and a Wolo bad boy. I plan on replacing the ford and fiamm horns with ones out of a Buick Rainier to keep it all Buick.
I think the leaky driver's headlight is something very common. I picked up one from the JY a while ago that I painted black inside, and ever since, I've had a lot of moisture in it. I put a pack of silica gel in it earlier. That might keep the moisture out of it.
Here's a most recent picture of mine. You can see the moisture in the headlight.
Yes, that is an Indiana plate lol. My friend in Indiana (eltatertoto) sent it to me a couple months ago.

LOL yep those left lights. My right leaked but that was because the housing was cracked. Gonna try and black mine out and get rid of the orange corner reflector. One project at a time till I can get stuff back to normal here. Debating on if I want to do this
