I have owned my 1950 Buick Super Riviera sedan for 5 years now. It was owned by the original family until 2016 and I have much documentation as to it's originality....but I have one question about it. The engine color is black....not the usual Buick blue. Seaching the internet I have found only a few others with a black engine? Can anyone verify that a few 1950 Buicks were somehow originally equipted with a black 263 engine somewhere along the linw?
