hi,

<br / border=[/img]">
this gorgeous Buick Wildcat was fully restored and slightly hotrodded
back in 1988. I have a letter from the owner dated 1989 listing all the
work done to the car. (will email to you upon request).

I have owned this car for one year, the looks and compliments are
abundant - this car seems to have amazing universal appeal.

Buick built about 2300 wildcat convertibles in 69, who knows how many
survived?

It was stored outside but was in new mexico, very little harm came to it
except minor interior drying out and paint fade. Front seat has a hole
where the driver sits, rest of interior looks good but has spider cracking
due to age. With a reupholstered front seat this would make a nice daily
driver interior for sure. Carpet is good, one very minor hole near driving
foot area.

Runs quite well but needs minor work. I used it as my daily driver it since
purchase in fall of '06. It was the most fun I have ever had with a car ever!
Top is in decent shape ( one tear has a small patch near bottom below
back window), motor and hardware for top work perfectly. rear window is
glass.
windshield is old and slightly pitted, has a star crack and a small stress
crack. All other glass is good except for some wear marks from going up
and down (manual windows work well).
very little rust - a few spots in trunk, rest of floor is rust free, no rust on
body.
front bumper is very good, rear is a little tweaked but not bad.

The Wildcat has the optional front disc brakes, huge rear drum brakes,
brakes are working fine.

I was told the block is the original 430 but have not checked for matching
numbers. was rebuilt in 88 and had 455 heads added. Premium Kenne
Bell parts were used incl. forged pistons. Car needs a carb rebuild and a
radiator to make it a daily driver, it starts and runs fine every day for me
though. Engine does leak some oil but does not burn much at all. The
Positraction rear end and turbo 400 transmission are in great shape,
shifts smooth and sharp. Exhaust was built custom in '88 , has surface
rust but no rust through anywhere.

Paint is faded in some spots, could use new paint but the bodywork
required will be minimal. This thing is pretty darn straight!

Included are the vintage 15X8 Jackman style wheels(pictured), along with
the original '69 wirewheel covers and 15X6 wheels
