Power steering fluid leaking in my 97 LeSabre. I was putting in fluid for a small leak every few weeks, now the fluid only lasts a couple hours before it starts making that loud humming sound whenever I turn. I had a shop look at it a couple weeks ago and they said it needed a new rack and pinion. I took it to another shop and they replaced the rack and pinion, but said there was a hose with a small leak still. I took it home and drove it. I had the intention of fixing the hose next week. The leak sound came back as if they hadn't even fixed it. I'm hoping the hose being fixed will take care of it, but now I'm also wondering if they even fixed it cuz the leak is still really bad, and the mechanic made it sound like the hose was a small.leak. tomorrow I'm taking it back to the shop and see what they say, and have the hose fixed.
