Hi, everybody.

Nice to be here, I'm really excited about the 69 Skylark Custom I just bought. This is my first project car and I have a lot to learn. The car had the original engine/trans replaced with a chevy crate. Here's what I need to know:

1) What kind of engine do I have? (where do I find numbers?)
2) What kind of transmission do I have?

I have an album with pictures of both. Any help is greatly appreciated!
