Advise on New 37 Special

I just picked up a 1937 4DR Special with 454, 700r4 and all the right stuff. Looking for the rite site\forum to get rod help and share. Initial question, other than suggested sites; does anyone know of an approach to add springs or pistons to get the doors to stay open?!
