Just obtained a clean 94 Park Avenue with 91K miles. Plan to replace the original struts and keep a soft ride. Any input on how I tell what suspension/ride package it has? anyone have experience with the Gabriel Ready Mount struts?

I had a '92 Park Ave Ultra. They were similar through '96. I bought it new and ordered the Gran Touring Suspension. It had a plate on the dash which indicated that suspension. Otherwise, it said Dynaride.

Unless you really want aVERY soft ride, I would suggest that you get the struts from the Gran Touring Suspension in any case. It's still comfortable.

Haven't used Gabriels for many years, so they may be better now, but I think of them as beingrelatively soft and short-lived. There's a lot of weight and stress on that front end! I always like Bilsteins, but I don't think they make struts to fit that car. KYB, if available, would be my second choice.

if u have a regular park ave then u can buy almost any brand u want. if u plan on keeping the car then go with a quick strut setup. such an easy install.

thats what i did on my 92. the one i got were made by monroe. and it wuld be best to buy new bolts as well.

oh and ur gonna need an alignment when ur done too.
