I am having problems with my coolant temp. It was working just fine for the first 6 weeks that I had the car, but now it will only read up to 36 degrees farenheight. The engine is getting warm, but the gauge won't move past the first bar and readout goes from about -12 to 36.

Any suggestions?

Not real familiar with your particular car, so I cannot say if there's a typical solution, but if the engine is actually up to temperature (~195), I would probably first replace the temperature sending unit. They are fairly cheap (in all senses of the word), and usually fix this kind of problem.

Thanks, I will give that a shot this weekend, considering the awsome weather, and I will post the results either way. Still any other ideas are welcome.
