I currently own a 1999 Acura TL and was thinking of trading it in on a Lexus ES330. That was before I saw the Lucerne on the Buick website. I can not wait to test drive the Lucerne.

you are always going to get a nice luxury car with buick, you just know it's gonna be like a dream.

Ok the based on the v8 cxl lucerne, Es330 is more money,has less horsepower, lucerne has standard traction control(the lexus does not),lucerne has standard safety child locks(lexus does not), lucerne has rear AC controls (lexus does not). The lexus has better gas mileage and a sunroof.

I am not a big fan of the ES330/350 series, you are paying a lot for a dressed-up Camry. That being said, I THINK that child safety locks are a federally-mandated thing on 4 door vehicles, and have been so since the early 70's, so I have to imagine every car legally sold in the US in the past 30 years has rear child safety locks.

Well good luck with that. I'm not much of a fan og the Lucrene, but I heard that its good.

My Lucerne rides like a 64 volkswagon over railway tracks. Dealer put new Continentals on it, and that made it worse. Now have Michelin MXV and it still shakes at highway speeds. If you are thinking of buying a Lucerne, don't plan on a nice Buick ride. Here is a list of other things either fixed or about to be, that you might wwish to consider..

No heat when remote start is used.
Engine Timing cover gasket defective.
Passenger headliner fell out.
Trunk release motor replaced.
Dash lights cannot be seen on sunny days. (GM has a WO for this)
Passenger side body molding missing 3 of the 5 clips.
Easy exit for the power seats does not work.
Rear door electrical harness plug does not fit.
Gas mileage is 1 1/2 times my LeSabre with the same engine.
Loud clunk in driver door when cornering right.
Driver door creaks when opened or closed.

But, hey,if you don't mind all of this, it does have a nice radio if you want to spend $35,000 for it.

Lexus, here I come.
