2002 LeSabre Limited with 140,00 km. now has a whining noise when turning corners; but the whining disappears when the car goes straight ahead. Any comments please?

 

Check you power steering fluid.

 

Thank you Cstoliker for your helpful suggestion. Sorry it took so long to get back to you as I have been away.

Today my son checked and addded some oil to the to the steering box and it looks as if the whining has disappeared.
