I just bought a 2001 Lesabre, and I love it. The dealer replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor just before I bought it, and it is a dream.

I looked at the hoses and serpentine belt and all are original. The service mgr quoted $110 for the serpentine belt replacement, and told me my radiator hoses should go another 50k miles (he said the newer hoses are made much more cheaply). It's got 48k on it now.

What do you think about this? I'm not so sure about 7 year old hoses.

Thanks.

Well, obviously it would be better to replace them, but if you've got better places to put the money, I don't think you're taking much risk by going to at least 70K.
