Default warning light comes on--what to do

There's a red warning icon that comes on intermittently on the dash of my '09 lacrosse. The book says it's the air bag system. When it does come on, it's on for a few seconds, then off, then on,off again, then I won't see it for a week--maybe two. Anybody else ever seen this on their LaCrosse?

When the light comes and goes it usually means an intermittent problem. When convenient might be a good idea to see if it has stored any history codes in the computer.

My parents have a similar problem in their 2009 Impala. It seems to be caused by a bad connection in a wire connector under the drivers' seat. You can try checking there, just make sure everything is clean and connected properly
