No crank, rapid flashing check engine light
 

Hi all,

I am working a 2011 Lacross.

When I put my foot on the brake and press start, the car will not crank and the Che k engine light rapidly flashes. Sometimes when I press the start button, I hear a mechanical noise, it’s not the starter, coming from under the hood. It’s like a plastic clicking noise.

I have swapped the fuel pump pod, new ECM, checked all my relays and fuses, and checked the grounds that I can find.

Battery is good. The customer put a new starter in thinking that was the issue. Both key fobs present.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
