So i got an 06 lacrosse cx and the car has 130k on the odometer. I had to replace the cluster and says its 230k on the odometer now. Anyone know how to change it? Ive read you can change the eprom chip from the old one to the new one, would anyone know where that chip is? Ive seen they are usually a 6 pin chip but i havent found one on the cluster only 3 pin chips i believe are diodes, and the one at the bottom that is like a 100 pin chip. I know you can pay to have this done but if i got to pay to do it ill just leat ot at 230k because i have no plans of selling it. Thanks all, any info would be great.
