Within the last month, about every 2 to 3 weeks my car won't go into reverse for about 30 to 60 seconds to back out. Before i take it in and let someone "practice" on my $$pocket book$$ to see what the problem is...want to know if anyone has any ideas...Thanks!!!

if it is that sporadic, i would think that it is an electronics issue

on a 94 lesabre, i believe that there is an electric TCM, transmission control module. there could also be a solenoid going bad. i would give a buick dealership a call, and see if they will give you any advice to whether or not it is a common issue.

I agree with Erakiel81. My other car (Intrepid) will do this. I basically use this as my guage to change the trannie oil and filter. Hey I cannot go wrong as it has over 200,000 miles with no issues.
