Bought a buick but the previous owner didnt have the remote .... anyone know how to open the trunk without it? I can't find the trunk release button

 

Ours has push button hidden under rear trunk fascia moldings by license plate). Could also probably fold down rear seat and release safety pull in trunk (can't recall if we have one of those though in '16, will have to relook). I know, will lock myself in trunk and attempt to locate pull handle. No, need remote for push button. Keep forgetting, keyless ignition.

Years ago some GM models had a solinoid trunk release in glove box. Works great when button pressed going along about 30mph or so.
