Hi, new member, Having problems with right directioal. Replaced bulb numerous times onll to have same problem show up. Like I have to replace bulb again. Finally took assembly out and found the park/ directional socket over heated and the base of the bulb baked and falling apart. Went to the dealer for replacment and discovered they want 35.00 for a new one. This sound a little high for such a small socket. The fella behind the counter knew all about the problem, said a lot have been replaced. Am I just nit picking or is this the way I have to fix the problem? Seems to me that the the bulbs are too bright and hot and make the socket destroy itself. Can some one give me directions on this? Thanks a bunch.---bert

it sounds like they just used a faulty socket setup...i would check around in a junk yard for one that is in nice shape.
