My fiance' has a 1995 LeSabre that stalls randomly. Once it stalls, the door locks won't work and the windows won't operate. As I said, it's a random thing and it will start again after a while and might run ok for several days. She's already had a fuel pump replaced un-necessarily. I suspected the VATS module might be the culprit, but from what I've read it's only connected to the starter and fuel injection circuits. A local mechanic where she lives told the the "module" might not be reading the door, but he didn't specify what moduleand they had the car for three days with no results. Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated.

 

Does only windows and door lock stop working ? or every electrical
accessories ? If every electrical thing stop working look for
dammage on your main ground (just follow the black wire from the
battery). It can also be the battery.
