1955 Buick special brakes not working

1955 Buick special brakes not working
I rebuilt the master cylinder and brake booster, bled the brakes and had good pedal pressure then started the engine and the brake pressure went away. The car sat for a few days and has good brake pedal pressure again but just now while the engine is running. Pleas help

I have just came across a barn find.1995 Buick special I am a old rookie starting late in life on restoring a car. May I ask where the master cylinder is located ? It is not under drivers side floor board. I have zero brakes also and would like to start by checking brake fluid. This is all new to me but not afraid of getting dirty or learning.
