Hi all my son just bought a 03 Rendezvous CXL 3.4l, turns over fine just won't start, kind of spits back through air tube when it stops turning over. I'm getting fire at all 6 plugs and fuel pressure is reading between 52-56 psi. If I'm not mistaken if the crankshaft pos sensor and cam pos. sensor were bad it would not get fire,,, correct? The man he bought it from had the ecm replaced, I have the old one and all numbers match. On the day he got the car it was showing 2 codes both for map sensor I checked it and it was bad so replaced it, we put new plugs and wires on it (they were definitely past due). It would start and run it ran really rough but would run, he drove a cpl miles to my house. But now it will not start at all. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch in advance. I was a tech for about 30yrs. But been out of the business for a few years now. PLEASE HELP!?!?!?

 

My first question is , are you sure you have the plug wires on the correct plugs?
