Anybody buy a used engine recently?
Has anyone recently purchased a used engine?
I’ve been searching on various platforms like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist, but the M54B30 engine appears to be scarce, except on eBay where the prices seem exorbitant.
I recently contacted LKQ, and they offered approximately $1100 for a long block engine (no accessories) plus a $200 transfer fee.
Blue Prism Automotive appears to be the most affordable source, but the engine’s condition is questionable, and there may be travel time involved.
Are there any other reliable sources for purchasing an engine?
