WOW sounds like the old transmission line fire hazard.. line comes off, wets the exhaust manafoldand fires up the front into a BBQ..

You car has a .750 dia stainless tube coming out of the lower intake that touches the plastic upper and eventually burns it. The Ken co. pipe is a reduced dia pipe that creates and air gap between the plastic and hot egr gases.
