I have a 1999 buick century custome. The other day my low coolant light turned on. I added some coolant to it and the light turned off. But today as I was driving the light came back on and my car died on me. I looked at the oil stick and it was all gunky. It looks like the coolant had mix in with the oil. So I think it may be a headgasket. If any one knows what it is and would it be hard to fix, I would appreciate it.

Again, any help would be appreciate and thank you all.

forst off, DO NOT drive the car. the problem is most likely to be theupper, and or the lower intake manifold gasket. either way, you would want to change both at the same time. its kind of a pain on the 3.1, but certainly possible to do over the weekend.

Bummer...

I just went through head gasket problems with the Cadillac Seville Norstar engine. Thought about replacing engine after 3rd head gasket, but could not find one. Your engine is easier to find then that one I am sure. yeah sounds like gasket or something for sure.

Good luck...
