1989 century 3300 into 1993 century 3300

I know that the internals on these two engines are way different from each other, but are the engines interchangeable as a whole? should be a direct swap if im not mistaken anyone had any experience?

Do some research on whether the Electronic Control Modules (Vehicle Computer)are the same. . Then It gets into a whole new ballgame.
