The car ran out of gas and now after putting gas in it , it will not start. Is there a procedure to get gas back to the fuel injection system after it runs out of gas?

Not aware of any procedure, but you need more than a little gas and often have to crank for quite a while.
Also, since the pump is cooled by the gasoline, it sometimes burns outif its been "trying" to pump gas too long. Sorry!
