I have a 94 Buick Century that I just changed the plugs on.

I needed a elbow connection and extensions for my rachet just to get in those hard to get to areas.

Hope that helps

i tried that but the alternator is sitting on top of what i think is the only room for any kind of kink ratchet or elbow extension and the only thing i could do to even get my hand on a spark wire was to go from the side and under the sensor wires next to the alternator...i think something has to come out either siring or the alternatorsmileys/smiley7.gif

your engine is different than mine

alternaters aren't very troublesome to remove. Just loosen the belt at the belt tensioner. Couple of long bolts hold the alternater in place.

I work on Buicks everyday at work and I know that some of the plugs can be hard to get to. I am prety sure that on your car I would just reach down behind the engine and get the plugs out. Somtimes the hardest part is getting the wires to come off because they get stuck on. I use about a 6 inch extention and a flex head ratchet. It might help you to remove the coils and ignition module.
