Has anyone had problems with speedometer error on an '04 Celebration? Dealer cannot find any error codes but it was reading 70 mph when doing 35. The HUD was reading correctly.?

What's an " '04 Celebration"?

Is there any chance you're in Metric mode, i.e., it's reading ~70 Km/hr (although that would be equal to about 45 MPH)?

Buick made special edition Lesabres in 2003 and 2004 to celebrate 100 years. No it isn't in kilometer mode. It is crazy but it happened. Beats me how.

It did it again today. At 65mph the speedo was pegged past 150mph. HUD showed correct speed but speedometer was wacky. Dealer can't duplicate it. I had 3 witnesses today.

After I called Buick ,they called the dealer. The dealer finally checked it and found a bad cluster. They ordered the part and I may get it fixed next week?
