Key Fob issue

I recently purchased a 1992 Roadmaster Limited (only 18,139 miles). The previous owner didn’t have a
key fob so I purchased one from the local dealer and programmed it.

The issue is the fob only unlocks the driver door, even after depressing the unlock button twice. It functions normally other than that. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Sometimes you must press the button multiple times to activate the extended capabilities of the remote system. Make sure you have the proper fob. It should have a 103T or 104T (not sure which) on the reverse. It should match the receiver number under the storage compartment panel, on a bracket above the wheelhouse. If you need another one, I have a number of them.

thanks...I’ve definetly tried pressing unlock multiple times, and have changed out the batteries. I purchased the FOB from a local dealer so would think it’s correct but I’ll have to check the numbers as you described.

Can you give me a price shipped to 92807 just in case please?

I would sell one for $20 shipped by first class mail.

I want to clarify...when programming the receiver, sometimes you must press the button twice in rapid succession to access some of the functions of the system.

I’ve tried that too. I wouldn't mind paying $20 for a spare though. Can I pay you via pay pal?

I accept paypal at jfkiehl@ij.net. I appreciate it, if I get it sent to "friends and family" to avoid fees. Send your address as a message/note.

I need the embossed number on the unit to match them. The 103T and 104T may both work, but I would rather send a correct number. It may be cased in a different brand (Chevy/Olds), but the case can be swapped out. Check your receiver in the car for the last 3 digits with the R instead of T.
