I have been getting conflicting information on the internet. Is my radio hole a double din? 1.5? too narrow? too wide?

GM radios of the day were all double din, excepting for their captive imports. If you want to put a single DIN or 1.5 DIN radio in, you'll need to get the appropriate filler plate for one.
