yesterday in the shop we had a 86 riviera come in and we had about 4 people sit on the trunk until the tires were tucked and then we used the aced. torch to heat the springs and it permantly dropped the back...were doing the front today...is this unheard of or like popular or just stupid???? please opinions welcome...





p.s.did this seriously weaken the springs or did it some how just strengthen them or just lower...?
