windshield wiper pump replacement 1979 buick regal
 

1979 Buick regal ,
recently tried to replace washer pump on windshield wiper assembly!
with aftermarket anco washer pump model part # 61-16
changed everything over as instructed relay switch etc.
one problem, I started job with wiper motor in on position,I disconnected everything, reassembled all parts of procedure and nothing motor wont work blown fuses how can I get the motor in off position with jumper wire?
and will this solve my dilemma?
I know this was a rookie mistake
I have recently ordered a motor with washer pump replacement!
if I can get the motor back to the off position and reassemble everything will this work?
anyone have advice It would be very helpful , I took the wiper motor, and pump out since all above options have exhausted my efforts :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused: :confused::confused:
