ok so i have the retirement tan buick regal should i go black for tint or mirror tint or no tint?

What color interior, How dark are you going, and how anal are the cops with the tint laws where you live?

Tan interior like mine I say 35% is middle of the road safe yet effective. 5% is better but you might have issues backing up at night in areas the street and garage lights don't illuminate. You also might get more than normal cop attention if they are anal about tint.

After the second Highway Patrol officer got shot because he couldn't see that the driver was packing and aiming, they got REAL picky about it around here. I hear it's not so much in most other states, but it's something to think about.

The way I park along a curved curb, even the slight tint I have means that I roll down the passenger window to see better out the mirror. And that's with 50w halogen backup lamps installed.

For the rear window, I never go very dark anymore. I forget what tint I used this time, but it's just right. Anything darker and I hate driving at night. It's almost like running around in a crew-cab pickup and trying to look out the back window through a camper shell!
