Stuck valve
 

I have a 1999 Regal GS with 132,000 mi. on it and the valve body valve for 4th gear is stuck. So, it is not going into that gear. The shop segested getting the whole transmition rebuilt. I am unsure about getting it rebuilt because other than that valve it operates perfectly fine. Is there anything else I could get done like a new valve body instuled?
