I need a link for 3800 intake torque specs
I need to know what the torque specs are for the upper and lower intake manifold bolts are.
Anyone have a Link for me? it's a non-supercharged 2002 Buick Regal 3800. |
I have the specs at home in my Century service manual. It's funny how they add the 3800 II teardown specs to a car that didn't have that engine. Will post it and pics around 12:00 Eastern Time when I get home. There was teardown and order to tighten.

Awesome. Thank you. I broke down an bought the haynes manual for the regal, but I would like to know if its the same specs.

Should be if it has 3800 engine in the book. Century/Regal are same car but they don't have the same engine. Depending where you go they assume the Century has a 3800 II option. No 90 Degree V6 engine comes in a Century from the factory.

Well I got the job done on the intake only to test drive it and find a big leak coming from a hard plasting 90 degree elbow connected on the passanger side lower intake and sending coolant from the casting above the water pump.
When I was test driving I found that my heater was blowing cold air and the temp gate was reading hot because It had blown out all the coolant on the drive out of the driveway. |
That I was referring to in this post
