Hey Guys I'm new to this site, but was wondering if anyone has changed the Rotors on there Regal and was curious how hard it is to do. I've done pads many times and have to change the pads and Rotors on my Regal, but don't want to pay the price to have it done when I can purchase the parts for a lot less. has anyone changed the rotors before and if so, do you have any steps to following to get the old one's off and put the new one's on?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Mike

Hi!

Actually done it this week end, for the first time. It's is not really hard to do. Actually is about 2 bolts away from what you've been doing already. There's one trick I got from my uncle, tough. In order to facilitate your job and keep your rotor in place, you can use two of the wheel nuts to secure your rotor in place while reinstalling the new one.

Hope this will help you.

Dan

Also forgot to mention last time that you need to push the cylinder back. Good luck!!

there are four (4) 15mm bolts on the back side of theknuckle - two hold the calipers to the carriers - and two others hold the carriers to the knuckles. On my 2004 an earlier wrench shouldn't have been allowed to use air tools but persistence paid off - now she's got 4 new rotors and 8 new pads - can't wait for 'em to bed in so I can see how those ceramic pads work!

Best of luck,

Steve
